About the app
What is Persian Spy?
Persian Spy (جاسوس فارسی) is an app of Persian party and card games with six games in one place: Spy, Spyfall, Mafia, Esm-Famil, Pasur and Hokm. Some are played on one phone in the middle of the group, others online with everyone on their own phone.
Is the app free?
Yes. Every game is free and the free version shows ads. Classic Spy, Quick mode and Mafia are always free, and joining a friend’s room is always free.
What is Lifetime Premium? Is it a subscription?
No subscription. Lifetime Premium is a one-time purchase that removes all ads forever and unlocks Pro features such as Spyfall, all 20 Esm-Famil categories, rooms up to 12 players and unlimited custom word categories.
Which phones is it available on?
iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play). iPhone and Android friends can play together in the same online room.
Which languages does it support?
Persian and English. In Esm-Famil the host can choose Persian or English for the game.
Playing online
How do I play online with friends?
One of you types a nickname and creates a room. You get a 5-digit code — send the code or the invite link to the others. With the app installed, the invite link opens the room directly.
Is voice chat free?
Yes. Voice chat is free in online Esm-Famil, Pasur and Hokm rooms. Your mic starts off and you can mute any player just for yourself.
What if my friends aren’t online?
Play with bots. In Hokm and Pasur bots fill empty seats, and Esm-Famil has a bot mode with three difficulty levels.
Is there quick match with strangers or a friends list?
Coming soon. For now you play with friends using room codes and invite links; a friends list and quick match are on the way.
What happens if my connection drops mid-game?
Your seat is held for 60 seconds so you can reconnect. In Hokm, if you don’t return, a bot takes over so your partner isn’t left alone.
Playing on one phone
Do Spy and Mafia need internet?
No. They are pass-and-play games on a single phone and work without internet.
Do we need a narrator for Mafia?
No. The app narrates: it deals roles, collects night actions and runs the dawn report and the vote, so everybody plays.
How many players does each game need?
Spy: 3. Mafia: 6. Online Esm-Famil: 2. Pasur: 2–4. Hokm: 4 seats, with bots filling empty ones.
